Hi, welcome! My name is Xing WANG.
I’m now a Postdoctral fellow in the Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I earned my Ph.D degree in Dec. 2023 from the National Astronomical Observatories , one of the institutes of Chinese Acedemy of Sciences. I was also a visiting graduate student in Brown University.
I specialize in analyzing multi-source data to address the geological issues on the Moon and other terrestrial bodies. I would also like to conduct some (spectroscopic, petrological or geochemical…) lab experiments based on the lunar returned samples.
My current research interest is about the South Pole-Aitken basin on the enigmatic lunar farside.
